Looks like fall is just around the corner. Hard to believe but it is happening across MG land. We were just planning for another GT and now we are planning a winter get away, to Alaska, Bermuda, or maybe Monte Carlo. I would choose Monte Carlo, but that is just me.

Back to NAMGAR business. What is new within our little slice of the world. We have a new Communications Manager. Not new to NAMGAR but new to the board of directors. Dan Suter of the MG Car Club Western New York and long-time NAMGAR member committed that he would be happy to take over this position on our board. Dan also writes an article for MGA! called Looking Back and will continue writing this article and be our NAMGAR historian. You will find Dan’s bio on our website and in MGA!
We hope you all will enjoy this issue of MGA!, especially the members who could not attend our celebration. We were very pleased with the outcome, both the Michigan Rowdies, NAMGAR and all who attended this fifty-year celebration.

A few words from Ed Sass and Coleen Quinn, and I quote, “The GT was fantastic!!!! One of the best that we have attended. Things really seemed to flow well. The layout was good with most of the NAMGAR activities centered in one area of the hotel. The hospitality was topnotch once again. The Rowdies have a history of good hospitality, and they did not disappoint. Although we might have had a bit of rain before the car show, the show site was excellent as well as historic.”

For NAMGAR we have began the preliminary planning of GT-51 with the North American Council of MG Registers. We have had a couple of zoom calls, and we will all be meeting in Sandusky, Ohio in August to review the hotels accommodations and discuss our plans for yet another all-MG event. Even though the event will be in August of 2026 we must move along to complete all necessary activities to bring us another great gathering.

The road to success is always under construction.
