Dave Nicholas Wins the NAMGAR Bucher-Decker Cup in the Collier Cup Race at the 2025 Watkins Glen Vintage Race Weekend

Longtime NAMGAR member Dave Nicholas won the Bucher-Decker Cup for highest finishing MGA during the Collier Cup race on Sept 6. This race was part of the SVRA vintage racing event at Watkins Glen International. Following a significant racing accident at Lime Rock the previous weekend which did significant damage to Honey Bee, Dave’s multiple championship winning yellow MGA 1600, Dave was racing a borrowed MGA vintage racer. Jeff Sienkiewicz of upstate NY loaned Dave his BRG vintage racing MGA for practice and Collier Cup race. The attached photo is credited to Ray Stone.
