The club was founded in 1998 as a loose association with one meeting each year and no real organization other than one guy who put together a monthly newsletter and organized a few drives and a show every year. In 2015 we incorporated, adopted bylaws, and elected officers to spread the workload around a little. Our amended by-laws provide no-cost BSCA membership to any Alaska NAMGAR member. Our regular events remain our June Concours, the August all-club Jay Ofsthun Memorial Show &#038; Shine, and our Christmas party that also serves as our annual membership meeting. We typically organize a couple of drives per month from May through September, hold a shop day at one member&#8217;s well-equipped garage, show our cars at the Alaska Scottish Highland Games, and take part in Anchorage&#8217;s 4th of July parade. BSCA  has a Facebook page. We still don&#8217;t have many meetings. Dean Cox is our president;  Ken Morton is the newsletter editor, a proud MGA owner, NAMGAR member, and the NAMGAR contact for BSCA.
