The Milwaukee Great Lakes MG Motorcar Group, Ltd. was officially organized at a meeting held on August 23, 1972. This meeting was held for the expressed purpose of naming the club and incorporating the group. Informally, the club is referred to as “MGMGMG”, “MG3” or “MG Cubed.”

Originally the club was exclusively made up of MG “T” series car owners, and associated with the New England MG T Register. This affiliation required all MG3 members to also belong to the NEMGT Register. Over the years however, MGAs, and particularly MGBs, have become the dominant cars in the club. As a result MG3 now has an affiliation with the North American MGA Register, the North American MGB Register and the New England MGT Register.

The club has continued to grow and prosper. From the original 24 members, MG3 has a current membership roster of approximately 140 members representing the ownership of over 250 MGs and other British cars.

On a monthly basis we hold social meetings called “Beer and Banters” at local restaurants to have dinner and shoot the bull. In addition, we typically hold 2-3 tech sessions per year, a spring driving tour, our annual Lost Soul Rally in July, a fall color tour, and a holiday party and cookie exchange in December.
