Door Hinge Plate

Woo hoo…..the basement room is now finished and it is now time to head back to the garage … tomorrow am is in my sights! I believe it has been about three months since I worked on the car last, so I wanted to start slow with an easy project. So I decided to work on repairing and rebuilding the door hinge plate.

Here it is. I drilled out the old screws and retapped the holes.

Here’s the retaining plate. Nothing really fancy to make this.

I took the wire brush to the area.
