MGA Dates – “First of a New Line”

There were seven models of MGA – 1500, 1500 Coupe, Twin Cam, 1600, 1600 Deluxe, and 1600 Mk II, with 3 engine sizes – 1489, 1588 push rod and 1588 twin cam, and 1622 cc.

Pictured below is the 100,000th MGA to be built, a 1600 Mark II roadster, which was shown at the 1962 New York Auto Show. It is now owned by Fred Skomp, a NAMGAR member, in Florida, and was restored in 2004. (Photo by Mike Tooke)
