Second Quarter 2018

We have some important announcements that we would like to share.

First, GT-43, in Richmond Virginia is just around the corner. We would like a headcount if you’re are attending the meeting and planning on attending the Chapter Coordinator meeting on Friday, June 15 at 8:00 AM in the York Room. If you cannot attend, please feel free to have an attendee represent your chapter. Please let us know who will be attending. We are looking to meet some new people. This is your single best chance to discuss issues on the chapter level. Please make every effort to have one of your club members attend.

Second, the MG Car Club Rocky Mountain Centre presented the Renkenberger Spirit Award to their chapter member Allen L. Wulf on May 9th. Presenting the award were Joe Gunderson (Chapter Contact) and Alan Magnuson, both of the MG Car Club Rocky Mountain Centre. Has your Chapter nominated a deserving individual for this prestigious award? See details toward the end of this letter to see how to do this.

Third, the North American MGA Register has a new chapter. Please welcome the MG Car Club Central Jersey Centre to our family. This is a large, all MG club with about 125 members. The club was founded in 1963! Eliot Ganek is their Chapter Contact. Welcome!!

Finally, Colleen and I will be driving the ’57 Roadster to the GT this year. Plans fell through at the last minute last year, so we are anxious to get on the road. We will be on the road for about three weeks. We are not taking the direct route but plan a swing through Canada on the way to pick up friends for a caravan. See you in a couple of weeks!!
