The first people he met at an MGCC meeting were Dick Fritz and Tom Mueller, both from Boulder, and then Ernie Brown. He is famous for his quick Treasurer’s reports, “We have money!” Al has coordinated Check Point Worker School since the 1980’s. He has also been the official warehouse manager of MGCC equipment: banners, check point signs and clocks, generators, tools, traffic cones, and tents, all stored in his garage.
Al owns a 1962 MGA MK II DeLuxe and a 1967 MGB V8 EFI conversion. He has driven his cars to MGA, MGB, and British V8 events across North America and the Rocky Mountains. He is always friendly, helpful, and ready to assist a fellow car owner with roadside issues.
Al is a member of MG Car Club, Rocky Mountain Centre, North American MGA Register, North American MGB Register, British Motoring Club of Northern Colorado, and Front Range Antique Power Association. Over the years he has collected many MG pieces and parts. Call Al if you need a set of Rostyle wheels!
